The family-owned company »Röchling« is a multiple world market leader with almost 100 locations on 4 continents and almost 10.000 employees. Under the motto "Röchling is everywhere", "Identitätsstiftung" launched a worldwide photo campaign together with the company among the employees in order to make a newly developed employer brand visible. We were then commissioned to transfer the 969 photos submitted into a representative coffee table book. The challenge was to bring together the very heterogeneous image material (in terms of quality and content) and to make the true qualities of the contributions visible: the stories behind the images.
The transparent plastic envelope with its format-filling letters is produced by using the screen printing process. The typography allows an insight into the pictures beneath the envelope — onto the actual cover of the book. The inside of the book is designed temperate to provide the pictures with the best possible stage. In order to properly appreciate the textual and content level, large typography is used here, partly on full-page, striking surfaces made of blue or silver — the colors of the employer brand.
