Every year, the Design & Media department at University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover publishes a catalog featuring the past years graduation works. Besides showcasing the various Bachelor and Master projects of over 100 graduates every year, the catalog also serves to review the academic year, events and exhibitions.

Together with the editor Alexandra Gomez-Kaetz, our task was to develop a sustainable catalog concept, which should provide a framework for the following years and at the same time offer the greatest possible space for an ongoing creative progression. The concept emerged as a monothematic catalog series, including a content-driven magazine section. Every issue is dedicated to a thematic focus, which is accompanied by teachers and students in various texts and essays.

The title of the 2016 yearbook is "Closer". In terms of closeness and distance, the yearbook collects the final theses from the 2015/16 semesters - supplemented by a photo series shot by photographer Marcel Wogram.

Featuring the work of Mario Wezel, Jakob Lukosch, Katrin Brümmer, Ksenia Kuleshova, Hannes Jung and many more.
