Since 2020
Since 2020, we are supporting the Volkswagen Foundation with its annual print publication IMPULSE. The monothematic magazine is aimed at the scientific community as well as a broader audience. The titles of 2021 (»Just don't let it stop you!«) and 2022 (»What should I do? What am I allowed to do?«), are dedicated to the topics »Corona« and »Responsibility and ethos in science«.
The challenge of the project is to design science communication in such a way that it connects and appeals to both the scientific community and a broader target audience. The special task here is an illustration of scientific topics that is not repetitive and reflects the quality demands of the scientific world in terms of aesthetics and style. Science often takes place at desks and laboratories — in order to visualize the topics, visual concepts and narratives that go beyond this are needed.
